Funded childcare, explained plainly
Every 3 and 4 year old gets 15 funded hours a week. Working parents can get 30 funded hours a week from when their child is 9 months old until they start school. 2 year olds can get 15 funded hours a week if the family gets certain benefits or support. You can also use the Early Years Pupil Premium and Tax-Free Childcare at any of our nurseries.
